God has given many gifts, some far greater than the others,
But the gift that far outshines them all are our ever-loving mothers.
He gave Hannah the great Samuel, a child who heard His voice;
And though he was her heart's desire she gave Him back by choice,
To lead his people to their God and in His strength rejoice.
He gave Esther to her people in their time of direst need,
To ask the king to spare them, the order to recede.
To hang Haman on his gallows, a warning for all to heed.
To our Saviour He gave Mary, a woman devout and true,
Who brought Him up so close to God in grace He constantly grew,
To ever pray and love our Lord and show example true.
Like those of old He ever gives our mothers pure and true
To love and care and watch and pray and oft to suffer too.
Their godly ways and ready love shall ever help us through.

our own precious Mothers! God truly blessed us with very special Moms!
My Mama was the "heart" of our family. She taught us
about Jesus...not a day goes by that I don't think of her,
remembering those precious times we had with her...She had
a passion for flowers, and her yard was always in full bloom!
She lives in God's heavenly garden now...I know I will
see her again!!

This is my mother. Her name is Linda Purvis. She is 65 years old and
she is my best friend. In 2000, she had congestive heart failure. Today
she has a pacemaker/defibulator and her heart is working back up to 100%.
She is a miracle and I praise God for letting her stay here with
me a little longer. Amen.

last surviving member of her family and she died on

This is my mom Susie Irene Canady. She is 94 years young and mothered
12 of us children. She has lived to see 3 of these children go to be
with the Lord. To me she is the dearest and sweetest mother alive today
and is very much loved by all of her children and many grandchildren and
great grandchildren, and we have her spoiled rotten and want to keep her
around for as long as the Lord will let us keep her...when she is gone
from us we will miss her terribly. I love you so much, Mommy!
